The Arizona Cardinals on Monday activated defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence (calf) and long snapper Aaron Brewer (arm) to play against the Los Angeles Rams, but running back Chase Edmonds (ankle) remains on the shelf.
Edmonds, Brewer and safety Charles Washington were designated to return from the injured reserve on Thursday, allowing them to immediately join practices with 21-day windows to be activated to the roster.
With Edmonds still sidelined for Monday Night Football, Arizona will again lean on veteran back James Conner to carry the load in the backfield. Eno Benjamin and Jonathan Ward, the latter of whom was activated from the COVID-19 list Thursday, could be available in relief.
Edmonds has not played since a Nov. 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers and remains second on the team with 430 rushing yards and 211 receiving yards.
He is averaging a career-high 5.7 yards per carry.
Lawrence, who began the year as the starting nose tackle, has been out since Week 6. He has four tackles this season.
Brewer was injured in Week 9, and Arizona replaced him with veteran Beau Brinkley.
