The 2022 edition of the WM Phoenix Open sees Arizona State alumnus Jon Rahm as the betting favorite.
As of Tuesday afternoon, FanDuel listed Rahm at +750 odds to win the tournament.
That makes him a clear-cut No. 1 favorite, with Justin Thomas at +1200 and both Viktor Hovland and Patrick Cantlay holding +1400 odds as the next-best options behind Rahm.
Rahm has always been in the mix at TPC Scottsdale but has yet to win an event.
He finished ninth in 2021 and has placed no lower than 16th since 2017. In the last three years, Rahm has started off at TPC Scottsdale with identical Round 1 and 2 scores of 67 and 68, respectively.
In the 2021-22 year of competition, Rahm has two top 10 finishes but has yet to take down a tournament on the PGA Tour.
There will be a total of 135 players competing at TPC Scottsdale in the WM Phoenix Open. Play begins on Thursday with a purse of $8.2 million up for grabs. Brooks Koepka is the tournament’s defending champion.
