Cardinals’ J.J. Watt shares a few brews with fans at Coach House

Apr 2, 2022, 5:05 PM | Updated: 5:08 pm

Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman J.J. Watt is a man of his word and a man of the people.

After saying he wanted to have a drink with Cardinals fans at a dive bar, the former Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year did just that on Saturday.

Watt laid down some ground rules before revealing where he would be having a few brews — namely when he would be leaving to support his wife Kealia’s North Carolina Tar Heels in the Final Four against the Duke Blue Devils later in the day.

The Cardinals DL was definitely in the basketball mood as he rocked a throwback Steve Nash Phoenix Suns jersey while snapping some pictures with fans at Coach House in Scottsdale.

Watt even got in a round of golf with a few lucky playing partners — well virtually anyway. Turns out he’s pretty good at Golden Tee, too.
