The Arizona Cardinals looked to trade wide receiver Andy Isabella in recent weeks and offered him to multiple teams, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported Saturday morning.

Saturday is Day 3 of the NFL Draft, a potential opportunity to mix draft capital into a deal to find Isabella a new home.

The 5-foot-9 speedster was a second-round pick by the Cardinals in 2019, the first offensive player taken by the organization after quarterback Kyler Murray.

Arizona traded quarterback Josh Rosen to the Miami Dolphins for the No. 62 pick it used on Isabella, who has not found a consistent role in the NFL.

He caught nine passes as a rookie, 21 in his second year and then only one last season.

Isabella lost his role on offense in 2021 after the Cardinals drafted receiver Rondale Moore and added A.J. Green to the mix. He played 30 offensive snaps over eight games while being held inactive for nine contests.

The wideout was a Biletnikoff Award finalist honoring the best receiver in the country as a senior at Massachusetts in 2018 after leading FBS with 1,698 receiving yards. He ran a blazing 4.31-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Isabella was granted permission to seek a trade back in March, as reported by CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson.
