September 30, 2012: Cardinals inactives
For just the second time in his NFL career, Darnell Dockett will not suit up for a game on Sunday. He’s inactive—which is not a surprise after he did not practice once this week because of a hamstring injury. Dockett has missed one other game in his nine-year career: November 14, 2010 against Seattle.
Todd Heap (knee) will miss his second straight game while LaRod Stephens-Howling (hip) will miss his first.
Keep in mind, this is a short week for the Cardinals with a game at St. Louis on Thursday so perhaps it’s better to sit Dockett, Heap and Stephens-Howling and have them ready for a division game in four days.
The Cardinals other inactives:
LaRon Byrd
Jim Dray
Senio Kelemete
John Skelton
Adrian Wilson will play after missing last week. And William Powell will be active and in uniform for the first time in his career.
