The Arizona Cardinals have lost four straight games, the last two of which have been started by quarterback John Skelton.
With little optimism the team will be able to turn around its offense, CBSSports.com NFL columnist Pete Prisco suggests a change under center is the way to go.
As part of a segment called “Three and outs”, which is three moves that need to be made, he lists a move to rookie Ryan Lindley second.
2. The Cardinals should try rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley. What do they have to lose?
On a very rudimentary level, one could say the Cardinals have more games to lose. They have half a season ahead of them, and while things seem bad right now they are by no means in position to give up on the year.
However, there are some who think the former San Diego State quarterback could spark an anemic Cardinals offense, and at the very least it is tough to imagine things being worse on that side of the ball.
