Phoenix Suns wing Ryan Dunn’s memorable start to his NBA career continued Saturday with a reported shoe deal with Nike, footwear insider Nick DePaula reported.
In six career games, the rookie has averaged 6.7 points and 2.4 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per game on 35.5% shooting from distance. In two starts, his numbers jumped up to 14.5 points with 46.7% 3-point shooting.
Dunn, who has donned Nike kicks in each regular season game, has shown a level of marketability as a young wing who is arguably Phoenix’s best dunker in the open floor.

Nike already has signature shoe deals with Suns stars Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.
“Oh did he? Hell yeah. Welcome to the family,” Booker said when asked postgame Saturday about his Suns teammate becoming a Nike teammate. “Gotta get him a (signature) shoe next, have three on the team.”
One of the latest Nike ventures from Booker was an Arizona Wildcats edition of his Book 1 shoes.
