Arizona Sports predicts Cardinals vs. Bears

Fresh off a win, the Arizona Cardinals will host the Chicago Bears looking to finish their home schedule with a win.

The Bears, though, need to come away victorious if they are to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Who will come out on top? We give our picks, be sure to give us yours.

Vince Marotta I think this game might actually be competitive. Everybody knows about the Cardinals’ offensive struggles, but the Bears haven’t exactly been lighting the scoreboard up either. They’ve scored 17 points or less in five of their last six games (and they’re 0-5 in those contests). The Cardinals’ 38 points in a win over Detroit was a case of false advertising, as four touchdowns were either scored by or directly set up by the defense. This one has all the makings of a close, ugly game.

Final Score: Bears 16, Cardinals 9
John Gambadoro The Bears are who we thought they were — when they were 7-1. After going 1-5 in their last six games the Bears get healthy against the Cardinals in a must-win game for them. Look for big games from Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall and for the Bears to not turn the ball over like Detroit did. Cardinals offense can’t do enough to win a game by themselves and they can’t expect the defense to score two touchdowns.

Final Score: Bears 27, Cardinals 13
Adam Green So the Arizona Cardinals won a game. Great. In actuality, I believe Detroit lost it with turnovers and shoddy play. The Bears aren’t great, but they actually have something to play for so they’ll be better.

The next good touchdown drive Ryan Lindley leads the Cardinals to will be his first, and I can’t see the Bears D making the rookie look competent this week.

Turnovers will doom the Cardinals once again, and they’ll lose their home finale in a snoozer.

Final Score: Bears 23, Cardinals 6

Joe Huizenga Believe it or not the Cardinals are actually above .500 at home this year (4-3). Frankly, with how dreadful they’ve played on the road (and at home at times) I can understand you not believing it either.

Last week though they actually showed some life (mostly on the defensive side of the ball) against Detroit.

Another NFC North opponent this week…another home game for the Cards…another win? Yes!

Final Score: Cardinals 27, Bears 24

Dave Burns The Bears are an absolute mess right now and the temptation to pick the Cards……well, honestly isn’t that strong. The Bears will be far too desperate to lose this game. Should they, Lovie Smith might not bother getting on the plane home. Plus it will be a virtual home game for the Bears, which may not be such a good thing.

Final Score: Bears 17, Cardinals 13
Dave Dulberg The Bears have everything to play for, while the Cardinals have nothing to play for outside of a draft pick. It’s safe to say, though, that the losing head coach in this game will not be back in the same position next season. Despite all of the early-season recognition Chicago’s defense received, Ray Horton’s group has been the more consistent bunch. Arizona’s defense played inspired ball against Detroit and will do the same Sunday against Jay Cutler and Co. It won’t be pretty — then again it never is — but the Cardinals behind another defensive touchdown will win their home finale.

Final Score: Cardinals 23, Bears 17
Carter Nacke Last week was a fluke. No way can the Cardinals beat a disciplined Bears team. It will be a great defensive matchup though, but the offensive edge goes to the Bears. Don’t expect a ton of scoring.

Final Score: Bears 20, Cardinals 17
Katy Hartley The Bears averaged 15 points in their last 7 games and are up against an Arizona D that is clearly not giving up on the season. If the Cards defense can keep the Bears receivers quiet and hold off Forte I think they might just get back to a winning streak.

Final Score: Cardinals 21, Bears 17
