LISTEN: Doug & Wolf NFL Power Poll heading into Week 6

Every Wednesday, Doug and Wolf unveil their top five NFL teams on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.

No change in the top four for Doug Franz. Although, he’s finally omitted the Seattle Seahawks from his list of the league’s elite.

“The Arizona Cardinals are my number-four team in the NFL and the reason why is pretty simple — I just like the other three, I think they’ve done more this year,” Franz said. “But admittedly, I have no idea who would win if the Cardinals played teams one through three.”

Wolf’s top five looks, well, exactly the same as Doug’s. Did they copy off of each other? Anyway, Wolf dropped the Denver Broncos two spots for another ugly victory over the Oakland Raiders, while booting the Carolina Panthers, who were idle in Week 5, off the list.

“I’m going with the Arizona Cardinals at four as well,” Wolf added. “They’ve got a very, very hot quarterback playing at an incredibly efficient level. Their running game has made them different. Their offense is emerging now as balanced. Not only that, but they’ve got a ball-hawking secondary and a ball-hawking defense.”

Doug and Wolf unveil their NFL top five every Wednesday morning at around 7:30 a.m.
