LISTEN: Doug & Wolf NFL Power Poll heading into Week 11

Every Wednesday, Doug and Wolf roll out their top five teams in the NFL on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.

This week, their lists look a little different, thanks to a couple teams losing and the re-emergence of the Arizona Cardinals.

Doug has the Denver Broncos, losers of back-to-back games, at number five.

“They are struggling so bad, but I’ve got to trust their defense,” Franz said about Denver, who will be starting Brock Osweiler at quarterback in place of the injured (and wildly ineffective Peyton Manning).

Franz has the Cardinals at number three, and the league’s two undefeated teams — the Carolina Panthers and the New England Patriots — in the top two spots.

Wolf also has Denver at number five, but has the Cardinals a slot lower, in fourth. That means he’s got the Cincinnati Bengals, who lost for the first time Monday night to the lowly Houston Texans, are a slot higher, in third place.

“Yes, they suffered a humiliating and bad defeat where they only scored six points, I get it,” Wolf said. “But the Cincinnati Bengals have played extremely well so far. I’m going to put the Cardinals number-four.”

Doug and Wolf unveil their NFL top five every Wednesday morning at around 7:30 a.m.
