The Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to one-year contracts with six different players in order to avoid arbitration, including three possible members of the rotation in Shelby Miller, Patrick Corbin and Rubby De La Rosa.

Starting catcher Welington Castillo and relievers Randall Delgado and Daniel Hudson also received one-year deals.

Corbin is still trying to get back on track after undergoing Tommy John Surgery in 2014 following a superb 2013 season that had him representing the D-backs in the All-Star game.

Miller was acquired in December for D-backs 2015 No. 1 pick Dansby Swanson, pitching prospect Aaron Blair and starting outfielder Ender Inciarte. The 25-year-old Miller has a career 3.22 ERA in 96 starts.

Castillo was acquired in June in the Mark Trumbo deal and was arguably the biggest surprise for the D-backs in 2015. The 28-year-old catcher hit .255 with 17 home runs and 55 RBI and provided some much needed power for the D-backs lineup.

De La Rosa went 14-9 with a 4.67 ERA in 2015.

Hudson pitched out of the bullpen in 2015 after two Tommy John surgeries and had four saves.

Delgado had a career-best 3.25 ERA in 2015 as a reliever.
