The seemingly never-ending lists of college football All-American teams continued Tuesday as SI.com released their teams.
Two Arizona State Sun Devils landed on SI’s team as both junior receiver Jaelen Strong and senior safety Damarious Randall were honored.
Strong received Second Team honors after a season in which he caught 75 passes for 1,062 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Philadelphia native regularly supplied highlight-reel plays and his Hail Mary touchdown catch in the closing seconds of a win over USC was one of the most memorable moments of the college football season.
Strong also received honors from CBSSports.com and ESPN.com and was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, which is presented annually to the top wide receiver in the nation.
Randall, a junior college transfer from Pensacola, Fla., received honorable mention. He led the Sun Devils with 101 total tackles and three interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown against Notre Dame.
Randall also had 9.5 tackles for loss, one quarterback sack, eight pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
