Report: Arizona Cardinals scheduled to visit with DL Al Woods

Mar 12, 2014, 7:08 PM | Updated: 7:08 pm

The Arizona Cardinals may be looking to bolster their defensive line.

According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, the team is scheduled to meet with Pittsburgh Steelers lineman Al Woods Friday.

Before then, though, he will visit with the Tennessee Titans Wednesday and Green Bay Packers Thursday.

Woods, 26, is a four-year NFL veteran who has played for the Steelers, Seahawks and Buccaneers. Last season he had 16 tackles along with a career-best two sacks.

Originally a fourth-round pick by the New Orleans Saints out of LSU in 2010, the 6-foot-4, 307-pound lineman is looked at as someone who is more adept at stopping the run than he is at getting to the quarterback.
