Larry Fitzgerald’s storied career has reached a new milestone.
The beloved Arizona Cardinals receiver has moved into the top-10 of the all-time touchdown receptions list. Fitzgerald’s touchdown in the second quarter of the home-opener against the New England Patriots was the receiver’s 99th career touchdown, and put him in a tie with Don Hutson.
Fitzgerald didn’t stop there. The 33-year-old snagged his second touchdown of the game, and 100th of his career in the fourth quarter.
If Fitzgerald comes close to the nine touchdowns he hauled in last season, then the 13-year veteran could find himself battling San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates (104 currently) for sole possession of sixth place.
Recent reports have surfaced that 2016 might be Fitzgerald’s final NFL season.
