Snapshot: Wildcats end season on a high note

Another blocked field goal? Arizona is becoming synonymous with poor efforts when it comes to the kicker. Maybe next season they can go ask the soccer team if someone wants to try out. He may not have had a lot of carries, but Louisiana-Lafayette wide receiver Javone Lawson took advantage of his opportunities. He only caught the ball five times, but managed to put up 137 yards. However, he didn't get into the end zone. Arizona wide receiver Juron Criner entered the Wildcats' record book on Saturday. When he caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Foles in the second quarter, he became the all-time receiving touchdown leader for the school with 31. He later added another TD reception, just to seal the record up. Arizona quarterback Nick Foles did some damage on Saturday. His 33 completions for 352 yards and three touchdowns was the end to a great season for Foles. His only bad note was the interception. Things are looking up in Tucson. The Wildcats beat their rivals, won their final game against a good team and have a new coach incoming. After the struggles of the Sun Devils this year, we may have a shift in the dominant college football team in the desert.
