If Paul Goldschmidt can stay healthy, the odds that he’ll win the National League Most Valuable Player award are pretty darn good. At least, that’s what the online gambling site Bovada says.

Goldschmidt has the fifth best odds at 15/2 to win the NL MVP award, sandwiched in between two Los Angeles Dodgers. Starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw is the fourth most likely to win the award with 7/1 odds, and outfielder Yasiel Puig is just behind Goldschmidt at 10/1 odds.

Goldschmidt is also one of the leaders in the entire league with 25/1 odds to hit the most home runs. He is tied for 10th most likely in the MLB and is tied for the fourth-best odds to lead the category in the NL.

Although Goldschmidt has never won the NL MVP, he has been as close as one can get. In 2013, he was second in the NL MVP voting behind outfielder Andrew McCutchen of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Goldschmidt played in 160 games that season, batting .302 with a .401 OBP. That same season, he led the NL in RBI with 125, slugging percentage at .551 and tied for first in home runs with 36. He also earned his first All-Star appearance and won Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards that year.

Last season, Goldschmidt played in 109 games before he broke his left hand and wasn’t able to return. Before his injury, he hit .300 with 19 home runs and 69 RBI. He also was named an All-Star for the second straight season.

Miami Marlins’ Giancarlo Stanton has the best odds at 3/1 to win the NL MVP. He also leads the entire league in odds at 7/1 to hit the most home runs.
