The Arizona Diamondbacks will get an offensive boost for the final game of their Interleague series against the Houston Astros.

Outfielder David Peralta has been reinstated from the Paternity Leave List while pitcher Anthony Banda has been optioned to Triple-A Reno.

Peralta and his wife Jordan welcomed their first child, a daughter named Sofia, on Aug. 14.

Peralta has been productive as of late, hitting .324 (12-for-37) with four doubles, two home runs, seven RBI in his last 10 games. On the season, the 30-year-old has put up a slash line of .303/.359/.470 with 12 home runs and 41 RBI.

Banda struggled mightily in his last start, Tuesday against Houston. The 24-year-old was rocked for eight runs on nine hits over four innings in a 9-4 loss to the Astros. In four starts at the big-league level in 2017, Banda is 1-3 with a 7.32 ERA and a 1.576 WHIP.

He heads back to Reno, where he has posted a 7-6 record in 19 starts with a 5.38 ERA over 107 innings.
