Depth is good, but the Arizona Cardinals’ offensive line depth is being tested early in 2017.

Five games into the season, the Cardinals will start their fourth different player at left guard. Welcome Earl Watford to the club, joining Alex Boone, Will Holden and Mike Iupati as starters so far this year.

Watford is expected to get the nod Sunday at Philadelphia with Boone still sidelined with a chest injury.

Watford was just signed earlier this week. He played the past four seasons with the Cardinals, including a career-high 15 games in 2016, making 10 starts (seven at right guard and three at right tackle). He signed a two-year, $6 million deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent this offseason but was released on Sept. 8.

Boone is missing his third straight game. He had been considered questionable after being limited all week in practice.

The remaining inactives are running back D.J. Foster, quarterback Blaine Gabbert, left tackle D.J. Humphries, defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche, wide receiver Chad Williams and linebacker Scooby Wright.

Humphries (knee) and Nkemdiche (calf) had already been ruled out, and they did not make the trip.

Some good news: both wide receivers John Brown and J.J. Nelson are good to go despite being slowed by quadriceps and hamstring injuries, respectively.

For the Eagles, defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (calf), cornerback Ronald Darby (ankle), running back Wendell Smallwood (knee), defensive tackle Destiny Vaeao (wrist) and safety Jaylen Watkins (hamstring) are out due to injury and among the listed inactives.

The others not in uniform for Philadelphia include wide receiver Shelton Gibson and guard Isaac Seumalo.
