Former Phoenix Suns forward and current Houston Rocket P.J. Tucker played his first game back in Phoenix Thursday.
To celebrate the occasion, the Suns aired a video package for Tucker as he checked into the game.
The video showed off all the signature aspects of Tucker’s game that made him a fan favorite. From diving into the stands to save the ball to his lockdown defense and passion, Tucker’s infectious energy made him an easy player to root for.
Tucker received a nice ovation from the crowd when the video concluded.
Tucker was traded by the Suns to the Toronto Raptors before the league’s trade deadline in February and then signed with the Rockets in free agency. Before he was traded, Tucker was the longest-tenured member of the team.
He won the Dan Majerle Hustle Award five straight years.
