Hitting a home run is no walk in the park.
Cincinnati Reds third baseman is well aware of that but it didn’t stop him from telling the team’s bat boy, Ted Kremer — who is autistic, he would hit one.
“[Kremer] said, ‘come on man, hit me a home run. I love you.'” Frazier recalled after the game. “And I said ‘I love you, too. I’ll hit you one. It was great how excited, that look, I started smiling before I even hit home plate.”
Kremer was so excited about the home run that he forgot to pick up Frazier’s bat afterwards.
