Michigan State hits a wild first half buzzer-beater in NCAA Tournament

Mar 18, 2018, 1:38 PM

Michigan State’s Matt McQuaid hit a buzzer-beating three before halftime of the Spartan’s game against Syracuse, one of the wildest shots you will ever see.

The 6-foot-4 junior made the most of his opportunity with the ball in his hands at the end of clock — twice.

Firing up a desperation three, only to see the shot blocked and floating in the air, McQuaid hopped up to grab the ball and fired it back at the rim while in midair to beat the buzzer.

The second effort banked in off the backboard to give the Spartans a 25-22 halftime lead in their second round NCAA Tournament matchup in Detroit.
