NFL mock drafts are fun and all, but you know what’s more fun? A dog telling you what should happen instead.
98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s Erin Maloney had the right dog for the job: Scout.
Scout answered three of the NFL Draft’s biggest questions by running over to certain bowls of kibble to communicate what her choices are, because, you know, dogs can’t talk.
We were, however, able to get inside the mind of Scout with the help of 98.7 FM’s Ron Wolfley.
First, Scout revealed which order the quarterbacks should be selected in.
Scout is a big fan of Josh Allen’s potential out of Wyoming, followed by Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield.
Josh Rosen followed third and Scout wasn’t impressed by the play of Trojan Sam Darnold, selecting him last.
As for who the Browns should take at No. 1 overall, well, Scout already revealed that answer with Allen going first among quarterbacks.
Those of you quick to doubt the legitimacy of Scout should note Allen was labeled on a different kibble bowl this time.
The biggest question in the Valley, though, is what position the Cardinals will draft at No. 15. Scout thinks they should go wide receiver but was probably hinting at something when she answered the question three times by eating some quarterback and offensive line kibble as well.
Scout must be a big believer in Brandon Williams, as she merely gave a quick sniff to the cornerback kibble.
