After veterans Brice Butler and Greg Little were cut on Saturday, the Cardinals may be back in the market for another wide out.

When roster cuts concluded for the Arizona Cardinals, only five wide receivers remained on the team.

J.J. Nelson and Trent Sherfield join Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk and Chad Williams as the Cardinals remaining Cardinals wide outs.

Nelson finished the preseason with just two catches for 10 yards while Sherfield logged four catches for 57 yards. Both were selected to the 53-man roster ahead of Butler (three catches, 34 yards) and Little (three catches, 12 yards, one touchdown).

Sherfield was also a contributor on special teams returning a muffed punt for a touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys in week three of the preseason.

The five remaining recievers have shown talent but are not without flaws. Kirk, Sherfield, Williams and Nelson have just a combined six years of NFL experience.

Additionally, Fitzgerald is the only player listed taller than 6-foot-1 among the five.

If the Cardinals decide to dip their toes in the free agent receiver pool, there are quite a few veterans to choose from.

Braxton Miller, Corey Coleman, Brandon Tate, Breshad Perriman, Dez Bryant, Jeremy Maclin and Martavis Bryant are all players that were either cut or were free agents before the roster cut period.

The Cardinals had 10 offensive lineman and 10 defensive lineman on the 53-man roster and added wide receiver Jalen Tolliver to the practice squad roster on Sunday.
