Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington pleads ‘not guilty’

Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington appeared in court Monday and pleaded “not guilty” on charges that he assaulted his ex-girlfriend.
Washington, 26, was arrested and booked on two counts of aggravated assault on May 3 following an incident that occurred May 1.
According to the police report, Washington’s ex-girlfriend claimed she was grabbed by the throat and shoved to the ground following an argument. She suffered bruises along with a broken clavicle.
