Markieff Morris’ tumultuous five-year career with the Phoenix Suns came to an end Thursday when he was traded to the Washington Wizards for a protected first-round draft pick and veterans Kris Humphries and DeJuan Blair.

To say that Morris’ time in Phoenix was up-and-down would be a massive understatement. There were times when the former Kansas star looked aloof; there were others when he was the Suns’ best player.

Here’s a look back at Morris’ time with the Suns, by the numbers.

345

Since becoming the 13th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, Morris played in 345 games in a Suns’ uniform, which ties him Lamar Green for 21st-most on the all-time franchise list.

3,940

Morris scored 3,940 points for the Suns, good enough for 28th on the all-time franchise leaders list.

46

Markieff posted 46 games of scoring 20 or more points while with the Suns, including a career-high 35 points in a 107-100 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Jan. 13, 2015.

5.5

Much was made about Morris’ attitude on and off the court during his time with the Suns. While teamed with his twin brother Marcus, whom the Suns acquired in a trade deadline deal in 2013, Markieff was happier and more productive. In fact, he averaged 5.5 more points per game while Marcus was also on the roster. In 190 games teamed with his brother, Morris averaged 13.9 points per game. In 155 contests when he was the only twin on the roster, that average went down to 8.4 points per contest.

.499

In his best season, 2014-15, Morris shot a very respectable .499 from the floor while sharing the court with his twin brother. When Marcus was on the bench, Markieff shot just .441 from the floor.

82

Morris started all 82 games during the 2014-15 season for Phoenix, making him the only player on the roster to do so. In fact, Morris is only the 12th Suns player to ever start all 82 games in a single season.

40

The 26-year-old developed quite the reputation for racking up technical fouls during his Suns career. Morris totaled 40 ‘Ts’ in his 345 games in Phoenix. With 15 technicals accrued in 2014-15 alone, Morris ranked second in the league in that category, behind only Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook, who had 17.

6-10

The Suns’ record in games Morris did not play in this season.

6-18

Phoenix’s mark this season in games that Morris started.
