Three Arizona Diamondbacks have been named finalists for a 2016 Gold Glove Award.

The defensive performances this season by first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, pitcher Zack Greinke and second baseman Jean Segura earned them mention on the lists composed of three players at their respective positions, MLB announced Thursday.

At first base in the National League, Goldschmidt joins the Padres’ Wil Myers and the Cubs’ Anthony Rizzo as finalists. Among first basemen, Myers ranked third in all of MLB with a .998 fielding percentage, a tick better than Goldschmidt’s .997. Rizzo is just behind them at .996.

Rizzo leads MLB first basemen with 11 defensive runs saved in 2016. Myers had eight while Goldschmidt finished with four, according to FanGraphs.

On the mound, Greinke saw a bit of action with 49 total chances (fifth in MLB) and recorded 28 assists with four involvements in double plays and a .980 fielding percentage. He recorded just one error on the year.

The Cubs’ Jake Arrieta and the Cardinals Adam Wainwright join Greinke as NL Gold Glove finalist pitchers.

Segura is in the running for a Gold Glove at second along with the Giants’ Joe Panik and the Rockies’ D.J. LeMahieu. Panik and LeMahieu were No. 2 and No. 3 among MLB second basemen with fielding percentages of .992 and .991, respectively, on the year. Segura recorded nine errors and a .985 fielding percentage for Arizona.
