Jan 6, 2017, 4:17 PM
Coming up on Monday night, No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Clemson will face off in the College Football Playoff National Championship game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
Alabama is coming off a 24-7 win over No. 4 Washington, as the Crimson Tide outgained the Huskies 326 yards to 194.
Clemson crushed No. 3 Ohio State 31-0. The Tigers handed the Buckeyes their first shutout loss since 1993.
The Crimson Tide opened up as a touchdown favorite over the Tigers, but if there is one team that may not buy into all the Alabama hype, it’s Clemson, who just saw them last year in this same game and were ahead 24-21 after three quarters before falling 45-40.
Fast forward to 2017 and it’s the rematch we have all been waiting for.
Alabama is looking to continue their dominance with another ring while Clemson is seeking revenge and their first title since 1981.
Erin Maloney breaks down the matchup featuring Clemson and Alabama and gives you the keys to victory for both teams in the National Championship.
