NBA All-Stars lose it when Kevin Durant passes to Russell Westbrook

Overdone or not, the spectacle surrounding the relationship between former teammates Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook was the storyline for the 2017 NBA All-Star game.
Reporters were actively watching how the two lined up in their West Team photos and how they walked by one another heading into the game. And would they play together?
They did, and it didn’t take long for Westbrook and Durant to make it clear Durant’s decision to leave Westbrook and the Thunder in free agency wasn’t going to sour the All-Star game itself. Westbrook passed to Durant, cut and caught a Durant alley-oop for a jam.
That’s nice and all, but maybe the better part was the reaction from the West Team’s bench.
Microphones caught Durant’s Warriors teammate, Stephen Curry, yelling “OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD WHAT JUST HAPPENED!” on the bench during the play.
At the next timeout, DeAndre Jordan and DeMarcus Cousins led the cheers by clapping as Durant and Westbrook chuckled.
In a sideline interview with TNT’s David Aldridge, Draymond Green said, “it was cute.”
Also, here is the special moment put to music — as if it could get any more emotional.
