ASU football announces 2017 Sun Devil Stadium gameday themes

ASU football announced its gameday themes for its home games at Sun Devil Stadium during the 2017 season on Wednesday.

Fans are encouraged to wear certain colors for certain games, as well as join ASU in celebrating themes on different gamedays, such as “Maroon Monsoon,” family weekend and more.

The following themes were announced for the Sun Devils’ home games:

Thursday, Aug. 31 vs NM State: “Sun Devils Serve” — Fans wear gold

Satruday, Sept. 9 vs SDSU: City of Tempe night/Staff appreciation — Fans wear gold

Saturday, Sept. 23 vs Oregon: Maroon Monsoon/Hispanic heritage — Fans wear maroon

Saturday, Oct. 14 vs Washingon: Family weekend/Hall of Fame Game — Blackout

Saturday, Oct. 28 vs USC: Homecoming — Stripe-out

Saturday Nov. 4 vs Colorado: Salute to Service/Sun Devil Club  — Fans wear gold

Saturday, Nov. 25 vs Arizona: Senior Day — Fans wear gold

You can see the full Sun Devils schedule here. Sun Devil Stadium features new amenities after undergoing offseason renovations, which include a new video board on the north end.
