Scoreboard error shows ASU trailing by a lot in NCAA Tournament

In the opening 10 minutes of a basketball game, there isn’t often going to be a deficit too large for a team to overcome.
For a brief moment on Wednesday, though, that was true.
In the First Four matchup between Arizona State and Syracuse, the scoreboard showed that the Orange had 12,116 points to ASU’s 11.
A 12,105-point deficit would have been asking a lot of the Sun Devils in terms of a comeback.
The actual score was 12-11 in what was a closely contested first half.
Those who caught the moment on their TVs at home were sure to document it and post it to Twitter with their own witty caption.
