With the NFL Draft officially in the rearview mirror and rookies starting mini-camp with their respective teams, it’s time to focus on the next wave of college football talent that will be on display in the fall.

NFL.com’s Chad Reuter compiled a list of the top 150 college football players to watch in the upcoming 2018 season.

Focusing primarily on upperclassmen, Reuter’s list included two familiar names from universities in Arizona.

University of Arizona quarterback Khalil Tate ranked No. 7 overall, while Arizona State wide receiver N’Keal Harry was positioned at No. 21.

Tate burst onto the college scene last season thanks to his running ability, carrying the ball for 1,411 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Through the air, the 6-foot-2, 215-pounder completed 61.4 percent of his passes for 1,289 yards and nine touchdowns.

Reuter acknowledged Tate’s performance during the Foster Farms Bowl against Purdue last season, eluding to what could be an even more productive season under new head coach Kevin Sumlin in the fall.

In the team’s bowl game against Purdue, Tate threw for five touchdowns — which might give him the confidence to move the ball through the air more consistently in 2018. If that happens, watch out!

Harry had a breakout season for the Sun Devils in 2017, catching 73 passes for 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns.

The 6-foot-4, 216-pounder has quickly become one of the best receivers in the nation thanks to his strength and overall ability to overpower defenders.

Harry’s a physical specimen who can run and win jump balls. He already creates late separation like a veteran.

Sun Devils quarterback Manny Wilkins is returning for the 2018 season, providing Harry with chemistry that could potentially lead to an even more productive campaign.

Harry has already caught the attention of ESPN draft expert Todd McShay, who predicted the Sun Devil wideout to go No. 25 overall to the Houston Texans in next year’s NFL Draft.
