Arizona Wildcats receiver Cayleb Jones announced Sunday he will forgo his senior season and enter the 2016 NFL Draft.

Jones, who made the news official over Twitter, said it was “one of the toughest decisions I’ve made in my life.” The 6’3, 215 pound wideout thanked Arizona athletic director Greg Byrne, head coach Rich Rodriguez, receiver coach Tony Dews and director of on-campus recruiting Matt Dudek, along with the city of Tucson and Arizona fans.

Jones played two seasons for the Wildcats after transferring following his freshman year at Texas.

As a sophomore last season, Jones tallied 1,019 yards on 73 receptions and added nine touchdowns.

He finished 2015 with 904 yards on 55 receptions and five touchdowns, finishing the year four yards off a career high in a game with 182 yards. Jones recorded that total on just four catches in Arizona’s 45-37 victory over New Mexico in the New Mexico Bowl.

Jones joins linebacker Scooby Wright to leave the Wildcats early for the NFL Draft. Wright announces his intentions following Arizona’s bowl game victory on Saturday, Dec. 19.
