TEMPE – Arizona State University athletics announced pricing for its 2011 football season tickets today, highlighted by a loyalty plan that rewards continued support.

The total cost will remain the same in 2011 for current season ticket holders who renew by the renewal deadline. The renewal period will begin today with a deadline of April 29th.

“We understand and appreciate the challenges presented by our current economy and we want to make Sun Devil football affordable and accessible for all while rewarding the loyalty of those that have supported us through the years.” said Lisa Love, Vice President for University Athletics at Arizona State.

Arizona State, which won three of its final five games in 2010, including a thrilling 30-29 victory over arch-rival Arizona in Tucson, returns over 30 seniors and almost 20 juniors in 2011.

ASU returns 10 starters on offense and nine on defense.

The Sun Devils will host a 7-game home schedule in 2011 that includes conference foes USC, Arizona, Oregon State, California, and Colorado and non-conference power Missouri.

This will be the inaugural season for the Pacific-12 Conference and the Sun Devils will play in the Southern Division. The Sun Devils have been ranked in several top 20 preseason polls this spring.

Season ticket prices in 2011 for current season ticket holders will remain at their 2010 total cost if they renew by the deadline of April 29.

For new season ticket holders seven price levels are available, starting at $120 and ranging to $1,770 in premium seating areas.

“We are grateful for the tremendous core of great Sun Devils that have been with us throughout the years,” said Stephen Ponder, Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development. “We also want to grow that core in order to build a consistently successful football program. By introducing a loyalty program, offering a variety of prices for every budget and putting renewed focus on customer service and the game day experience, we can accomplish this goal together.”

The 2011 Sun Devil Football season kicks off Thursday, September 1st with UC Davis.
