After capturing their 17th win Saturday in Tempe, the Sun Devils are now headed to Las Vegas to compete as the No. 5 seed in the Pac-12 tournament.
They’ll face No. 12 USC Wednesday at approximately 2:40 p.m. PST.
ASU hosted the lone matchup between the two teams this season, winning 64-59 on Feb. 22. Gerry Blakes’ 12 points and eight rebounds keyed the Sun Devils’ effort that night.
USC finished their season 11-19, losing nine in a row during one stretch and dropping 13 of their final 15.
Coach Herb Sendek’s team will look to avenge last year’s 79-58 tournament-opening loss to Stanford. USC will also face demons in Vegas, the site of its 59-56 tournament-opening loss to Colorado last year.
