The Arizona Wildcats had two quarterbacks listed on the depth chart at the starting spot. It was Anu Solomon “or” Brandon Dawkins.
Their decision wouldn’t need any discussion this week after Solomon was seen in street clothes on the field before the game with a knee brace on.
Anu Solomon isn’t dressed, so it appears Brandon Dawkins is your starter. First of his career.

Solomon had been listed as questionable going into Saturday night’s matchup against Grambling State.
This marked Dawkins’ first career start and first appearance since Nov. 21 at Arizona State. Dawkins was 16-for-30 for 305 yards and two touchdowns, to go along with two interceptions and a rushing touchdown on 78 yards with 21 attempts on the ground. He played briefly in four games in the middle of 2015.
Solomon was 20-for-30 for 213 yards and two interceptions in the Wildcats’ opening loss against Brigham Young University.
Solomon has 48 passing touchdowns and 6,460 yards through the air in his three seasons.
