For the fifth consecutive week in the AP poll and the fourth straight week in the USA TODAY coaches poll, the Arizona Wildcats are ranked third in the nation.
UA routed Oakland at home Tuesday and earned a narrow win Friday at UTEP in its first true road game of the season to improve to 12-0.
The Wildcats conclude non-conference play Tuesday at UNLV before opening up their Pac-12 schedule at home against Arizona State on Jan. 4.
The Wildcats earned one first-place vote in the coaches poll. Kentucky remained No. 1 and Duke stayed put at No. 2 in both polls.
Elsewhere in the Pac-12, Washington is No. 13 and Utah is No. 14 in both polls.
