Arizona freshman Stanley Johnson leads the Wildcats in points per game, at 14.6, and rebounds per game, at 6.8.
He’s a big reason why the Wildcats are 20-3 this season and ranked seventh in the country. For his efforts, it was announced Wednesday Johnson that has been named to the John R. Wooden Award Late Season Top 20.
Johnson is one of four freshman to be on the list, as he is joined by Duke’s Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor and Ohio State’s D’Angelo Russell.
