San Francisco Giants ace Madison Bumgarner has been out since mid-April after a dirt bike accident caused injuries in his throwing shoulder.
He is expected to be out until after the All-Star Break in mid-July and will begin throwing Friday.
Because of this, it’s safe to assume it was too dangerous for Bumgarner to run out on the field during the Giants’ game against the Washington Nationals when Bryce Harper charged the mound.

One can’t help but laugh at the difference in Bumgarner’s body language compared to the rest of the team, who immediately hopped the rail to go break up the fight.
Speaking of the two, they have history. Harper has hit two bombs off Strickland and took his time to admire how far he hit the baseball on each.

Speaking of Harper, his helmet toss at Strickland was well off, leading to more roasting of the All-Star on Twitter.
