HABOOB
Arizona does two things: Dry heat and mascot facial hair!

In all likelihood, there won’t be much for college football fans in the Grand Canyon State to crow about in 2017.
Sure, Arizona State and Arizona both kicked off their seasons with wins, but that feeling of victory will probably be a rare one on Saturdays this fall.
Northern Arizona University took one on the chin in their season-opener in Tucson, but the Lumberjacks could be decent when Big Sky play rolls around.
The point is, you’ve got to celebrate victories while you can. Since NCAA.com put out a video ranking (wait for it)…the best facial hair on college mascots, and two Arizona fluffballs landed on the list, let’s party!
Sparky the Sun Devil came in at No. 5 on the list, getting praise for his “perfectly-manicured, freestyle goatee.”
Three spots further up the list is NAU’s Louie the Lumberjack, whose beard rivals that of D-backs reliever Archie Bradley for its sheer splendor.
Two out of five? Even though neither AZ mascot took top honors, that’s a good showing by the state.
Everyone on the list, however, is looking up at East Tennessee State’s Bucky the Pirate, because, let’s face it, that’s just a great-looking mascot.
