Diamondbacks to give away J.D. Martinez four-homer game T-shirts

The Arizona Diamondbacks made quite the midseason pickup this July when they traded for the Tigers’ J.D. Martinez.

Since coming over to the D-backs, as of Friday, Martinez has hit .282 with 54 RBI and 25 home runs.

Four of those home runs were in one game.

For that, the D-backs will be giving away a T-shirt to the first 10,000 fans at Saturday’s game against the Marlins. The shirt commemorates that four-home run night in Los Angeles and depicts the spray chart for his round-trippers.

This season, Martinez has also set the record for the most National League Player of the Week Awards in a single season, winning the honor four times.
