Snapshot: Late turnover sinks Cardinals again

Special teams made a big difference in the scoreline on Sunday. Cardinals kicker Jay Feely missed two different field goals from 49 and 51 yards. Adding those six points into the game, the Cardinals would have won 16-13. Missed opportunities continue to haunt the team. Another late turnover on the final drive again cost the Cardinals an opportunity to win the game. Kevin Kolb, after a few sketchy plays and a near fumble, threw an interception with just over a minute left. After last week's loss, the Cardinals should be working on high-pressure situations in practice this week. The absence of Beanie Wells, along with LaRod Stephens-Howling, took its toll. Chester Taylor and Alfonso Smith tried, but a combined 74 yards and no touchdowns did not worry the Seahawks defense enough to allow the Cards to strike in the air. Maybe the Cardinals should have let their defense play both ways. They dominated the Seahawks offensive line, sacking quarterback Tavaris Jackson four times. They also held Seattle to 261 net total yards. The defense answered some questions, but the offense didn't back them up. Get ready for some questions, Whiz. Your team just dropped a very winnable football game to a division rival who had lost its previous two games by a margin of at least 20 points. Your defense looked decent, but the offense and special teams need work. Kolb is a leader, but late-game turnovers have lost two straight and show a lack of discipline.
