High school football in Arizona is steadily improving.
Athletes from all over the state receive full-ride scholarships to powerhouse football programs all over the nation.
But for as big as prep football is in the Grand Canyon State, it’s even bigger in Texas. Heck, everything is bigger in Texas!
Allen High School, just north of Dallas, is unveiling (get ready for it) a new, $60 million football stadium on their campus.
The facility seats 18,000 fans and will be christened August 31 when the Eagles host perennial power Southlake Carroll. And hey, season tickets will run you only $40!
The connection to Arizona? ASU head coach Todd Graham patrolled the sidelines at AHS from 1995 to 2000.
