This is not how a run onto the football field is supposed to go

Sep 9, 2013, 10:29 PM | Updated: 10:30 pm

The Arizona State Sun Devils opened their 2013 season last Thursday night with a 55-0 rout of Sacramento State in Tempe.

Nearly everything went right for head coach Todd Graham’s team. Taylor Kelly tied a career-high with five touchdown passes and the defense pitched a shutout.

Perfect, right? Not quite.

The only thing that went wrong was the Sun Devils’ run on to the turf of Frank Kush Field. After leaving Tillman Tunnel and making his way into the stadium, center Kody Koebensky lost his footing and created a bit of a pile-up in the smoke.

Thank goodness nobody was hurt, so we can have a little giggle at it now.
