Sunday was not kind to “The King.”
LeBron James filled the stat sheet against the Houston Rockets in a nationally televised game, putting up 37 points, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocked shots.
But he also missed eight of his 11 free throw attempts, including two with four seconds left in overtime that would have given his Cleveland Cavaliers the lead. Instead, they took a 105-103 loss.
Losing is painful, sure. But not as painful as what happened in the third quarter. While tussling with Houston’s James Harden for a loose ball, James took a foot to the groin.
Harden was called for a flagrant foul on the play.
James posted on Instagram following the game to ensure fans he was doing fine after a rough day. In the process, he delivered a swift kick right to the groin of proper grammar and punctuation!
