Larry Fitzgerald’s softball tournament raises $65,000 for First Down Fund

Apr 22, 2018, 12:07 PM

The eighth annual Larry Fitzgerald Celebrity Softball Game brought local and national stars together to raise money for his charity organization.

David Johnson looked healthy as ever as he hit a home run and celebrated.

The Suns’ Devin Booker made an appearance as well.

Other participants included former and current NFL players such as Calais Campbell, Terrell Owens and Jalen Ramsey. Diana Taurasi also got in on the action.

The First Down fund was founded in 2004 to help fund activities for kids and families in crisis and support health-related organizations, according to its website. It donates to several charities each year.

It also partnered with the Starkey Hearing Foundation to help underprivileged kids internationally receive hearing aids, Paradise Valley Lifestyle reported.
