Shelby Miller is scheduled to throw a live batting practice on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.

This will come four days after he threw a live batting practice at Salt River Field, Fox Sports Arizona tweeted.

Miller had Tommy John surgery on May 10, 2017. He threw in October for the first time since the injury.

In February, he was placed on the 60-day disabled list.

Miller, 27, was traded to the D-backs after etching a 3.02 ERA for the Braves in 2015. He didn’t pitch well under high expectations after the deal, going 3-12 with a 6.15 ERA in 2016 for Arizona and spending part of the year in Triple-A Reno.

In 2017, he started the season with a 4.09 ERA in four starts before getting injured. Miller went 2-2 and did not allow more than three earned runs in any of the starts.

Monday will be his seventh bullpen session, according to MLB.com’s Steve Gilbert. Miller is aiming for a June or July return, but there is no official timetable.
