Archie Bradley ejected from bench after arguing check swing

Arizona Diamondbacks reliever Archie Bradley was thrown out of the game Saturday night against the Houston Astros after arguing a call from the third base umpire.

The incident occurred in the bottom of the ninth inning when David Peralta was called out on a check swing that was appealed to third base umpire Dan Iassogna.

Bradley could be seen yelling from the dugout and was visibly upset with the call.

He was the third D-back to be ejected from a game this season. The first was Ketel Marte on March 31 against the Colorado Rockies and the other was manager Torey Lovullo on April 8 against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Bradley pitched 1.1 innings earlier in the game giving up no hits, no walks and no runs for the D-backs making him unavailable to reenter the game had it spilled over into extra innings.

The D-backs prevailed later in the ninth inning as A.J. Pollock knocked a groundball into left field bringing in the game-winning run.

Bradley leads the team with a 1.50 ERA and 17 appearances out of the bullpen.
