“Let’s play some basketball!”
If you are an NBA fan, you certainly remember Fergie’s rendition of the national anthem during last season’s NBA All-Star game.
While Fergie’s version of the song received some pretty hilarious responses and was even dubbed as one of the worst national anthems in history, the NBA is embracing the rendition in a whole new way.
Remixed.
The Golden State Warriors brought the new mix to life recently while hanging in the locker room following the team’s 128-100 win over the Knicks.
A Fergie National Anthem remix was the jam for the Warriors today 😂

Of course, it had to be the Warriors who got things started. Anyone else remember Draymond Green’s reaction to the original?

Fergie’s ex-husband Josh Duhamel surely does.
But the trend doesn’t stop there. It’s now gone from postgame to pregame in the NBA world.
Rajon to JaVale…

Prior to the Lakers matchup against the Spurs, the remix can clearly be heard while players were getting shots up before the game.
While the remix is catching like a wildfire, the real question is, where will it be used next?
At least Fergie is having fun with it.
I knew I wanted it to be special! #manifest #fergieremixchallenge 🔥🤣 @Money23Green @joshduhamel @Remixgodsuede https://t.co/orWsixUwWe
