Baseball Prospectus has included D-backs prospects SS Jazz Chisholm, RHP Jon Duplantier and OF Kristian Robinson in its annual Top 101 baseball prospects.

Chisholm was ranked the highest of the three at No. 69, while Duplantier and Robinson came in at No. 90 and No. 100 respectively.

Chisholm, 20, is the D-backs’ No. 3 prospect according to MLB Pipeline. Chisholm spent most of his 2018 in Single-A Kane County where he posted a .244 batting average with 15 home runs and 43 RBIs in 76 games.

The 20-year-old also participated in the annual Arizona Fall League and finished with a surprising .489 on-base percentage in 10 games.

Duplantier, 24, is the D-backs’ No. 1 prospect according to MLB Pipeline and spent most of his 2018 in Double A Jackson. Duplantier suffered multiple injuries last season causing him to miss time, however he was still able to record a 2.69 ERA and 68 strikeouts in 14 starts at the Double A level.

Another thing that stood out about Duplantier is that he rarely gave up the home run in 2018. In his 14 starts last season he only gave up four home runs in 67 innings of work.

Last but not least, Robinson is the D-backs’ No. 12 prospect according to MLB Pipeline and is probably the furthest from reaching the majors of the three.

The 18-year-old signed with the D-backs in July of 2017 and played 40 games in the rookie-level Arizona League in 2018. In those 40 games, Robinson posted a .272 average with four home runs and 31 RBIs.
