The Arizona Cardinals have placed linebacker Brooks Reed (hamstring) on injured reserve, the team announced in a press release on Friday.
In a corresponding move, the club elevated cornerback Chris Jones and linebacker Pete Robertson from the practice squad to the active roster.
Jones played in Arizona’s first five games to start the 2019 season that included one start. The six-foot, 200-pounder has been on the team’s practice squad since Oct. 11.
He also made one appearance for the Cardinals in his 2018 rookie season after coming into the league undrafted out of Nebraska.
Robertson has been with Arizona’s practice squad all season after being released by the Cardinals in the team’s final roster cut on Aug. 31.
The linebacker joined Arizona’s practice squad last season after playing four games with the Washington Redskins in 2017.
Robertson was undrafted out of Texas Tech in 2016 where he was coached by Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
